sitting outside of the tall fir forests and within sight of the hewn city is a collection of carved stone and wood houses (perhaps more aptly described as huts). the largest, oldest, and most sun bleached abode is residence to house calypso's founder--calypso--and her mate nikon. other dwellings are often erected around it, though whether they remain occupied seems to depend entirely on random whims and last minute decisions. those who have departed from the settlement, always of their own accord, tell of strange lights flickering in the distance at night while sounds of conversation and laughter drift from beyond the walls of the hewn city...
