A shooting star darts through the sky, not seeming to know where it's going. A small, only few minutes old Obelisk stares in wonder, turning to her father after watching the star flitter through the sky. He stands there in shock, turning back to the young dragon before speaking, "It's you... you're the future leader, Cybele..."

Long back when the clan had begun, Cricket was the leader. Cricket gave everything to the clan... only to be tossed to the side. As a Fae Dragon, Cricket didn't have much going for her. However, while she was off, she had new plans in mind... for how she could prove to be someone for the clan to admire. When she returned, she found that Rahd, the one she left in charge, was no longer in charge... The shooting star must have been spotted. A new era had begun for Syrma - they were no longer the nature clan.

Once Cybele had grown old enough, the ceremony began. Rahd came up to pass down his leadership to her, but before doing so he noticed Cricket in the audience. The crowd erupted in shock, confusion, and even anger. Cricket came upon the stage, now a Snapper through some magicks, and stated that she had returned. While her intentions were to take back the clan she once ruled, she knew Cybele was the rightful leader. She very temporarily took back leadership from Rahd, to which he agreed no hesitation, and passed it down to Cybele. Thus, the new era of Syrma had begun... under the Shadowbringer.
