The frigid floes claim lairs in their icy grasp sometimes - the progenitors and their eggs falling into a deep hibernation as they wait out the elements. The entrance to this lesser lair shows all the textbook signs of dormancy, but none of abandonment. Fresh tracks spread from the entrance, some as recent as mere days, as if many old friends and travellers have been visiting regularly to check in on Reuel and Artemis.
