* a small patch of fertile soil made possible by nutrient-rich past lava flows that have cooled over millenia. the clan makes its home primarily in a series of long-abandoned marble & stone temples and buildings made by those long ago

* home to two reincarnated deities, dawn star Yuan & dusk star Fen; over time, it has become both permanent and temporary home to many dragons from many places.

* a thriving place now with a village subsisting on an economy of harvest goods and flowers, rare things in the fire domain; home to many scholars researching ancient dragons & the qualities of the soil

* the soil & its natural plants are loved by the clan, but it hides a particular secret quality that gives certain dragons special powers...
