The Universe.

An ever-growing, infinite thing that controls all of life. It's a part of everything, no matter how small, and without it we simply would not be able to exist.

The essence of the Universe fills the air and everything in the air, until it's the only thing there. It's the life force. The creation. The end.

Humans have studied the Universe for decades on end, but haven't become any closer to an answer than they were before. And it wasn't until the arcana was discovered that dragons began to learn how to harness and draw energy from the Universal force binding us together.

Years of dedication goes into the practice, but those who have succeeded find they have a special link to the Universal force. They use it in their magic, they use it in their breath, and they build their entire lives around it. From the stars to the leaves, each dragon specializes in their own special field, but each dragon harnesses the Universal force from within it.

And together, these dragons formed their own Clan. A Clan of wonderers and dreamers, of widdlers and tailors, and of darkness and light. Each one choosing to learn from the other.
