Nestled between twin diamond peaks deep in the heart of the Southern Icefield rests a peaceful commune of magical scholars. Nameless and leaderless, the commune calls to those who are driven by the need to explore the magical arts, to experiment with and discover all of the mysteries that they have to offer. The commune is open to all, as long as they hold curiosity in their heart and wonder in their soul.

Originally of the Crystalspine Reaches, the founding group of scholars found their interests drawn down from the celestial and focused on more worldly enigmas, while all around them their Arcane neighbors looked to the heavens with stars in their eyes. Misunderstood and out of place, the commune decided to look outside the borders of the Starfall Isles for a new place to call home.

Eventually they settled in the Fortress of Ends, a lonely land but one rich in opportunity. Amidst the ice and snow flurries they were free to pursue their magical passions without judgment or censure. Word spread of a place where dragons could study magic in peace, and day by day the commune grew and flourished.
