The Guartund Clan

A dark, thick-furred Tundra male looks up at your approach. The brilliant blue of his wings and mane stir in the wind, the contrast distracting, and a moment too late you realize he has said something. What?

“I said, who’re you?” he demands, tone a bit abrupt and a scowl beginning to form on his face. You must have offended him by not answering the first time.

You mumble something about just passing through, and he tosses his head with a snort and fixes you with a critical gaze. Jewels glitter at his throat, legs and wing bases, and you notice a small bangle hangs from his tail as he sweeps it side to side. A simple, broad brimmed hat banded with yet more jewels sits atop his furred head. It looks a little out of place, but you don’t dare say anything to him.

“The name’s Bleu,” he introduces himself, and he has an odd, low drawl to his voice as if highly bored. His sharp eyes tell you otherwise.

You stammer out your own name and try to not let this dragon see how much he has unsettled you. He’s not large, but his attitude is very off-putting.

“This is the Guartund Clan, proud servants of the Tidelord.” His tail gestures to either side of him as if introducing the rest of the clan and their home. More dragons had started to wander over curiously as he spoke, and the eyes of Guardians and Tundras peer at you from all around. They don’t seem hostile, but you are sure that their attitude towards strangers is largely dependent on Bleu.

“Now then,” Bleu goes on, stepping closer and puffing himself up proudly. “What can we do for you?”

Hey there, call me DQ! My allegiance is to water, and I focus on breeding Guardian and Tundra dragons with water-themed coats and patterns.

As the name suggests, I do ride and have been for many years now. Dressage and horses are my passion, so feel free to hit me up if you want to chat (maybe for endless hours?), be you fellow horse nut or not! I am a female that hails from Virginia, USA, and I graduated college with an English degree, and in my spare time I read and write (I participate in NaNo, and I love it!). I also sit on the computer a lot (in the dark, in my...cave) and enjoy gaming on various platforms, watching a ridiculous amount of shows (fangirling included) and...well, if I have any time after all of that, I'm usually sleeping. DQ's pets: I have a dog, 2 cats, a horse, a bearded dragon, and several hermit crabs. My small zoo! I love them all though.
