Clan lore
Though first founded by Wisp and her mate, Newn, the clan has taken a turn. After the death of Newn, both his children and his mate mourned him. Wisp fell into a depression while their kids left to do as their father had always told them; follow their hearts.

Praell and Padgett took over as the alpha pair, birthing new hatchlings and inserting a rule that led to many leaving the clan; "Only those with the mark of the butterfly may enter. Only those who have proven themselves already do not need to leave."

The mates of Roses and Pears, Soel and Vyntolo, claimed the beta spots and Wisp was forced to the lower ranks. She was to look after all the hatchlings and nurture them. Dairo, an icy male from the north, quickly took pity on her and decided to share the task.

The young mated pair, Glyn and Wen, were promoted after they laid new eggs to strengthen their numbers, while the guardians of Blossom, Valentino and Daiko were demoted for a lack of commitment.

Ekim and Cinnamon, the children of the alpha pair, though old enough to care for themselves, bonded quite fondly with the broken Wisp and her companion. On one of their gathering missions, they took a small butterfly child with them and it was accepted among their ranks. They gave it the name Roses.

The Imperial Guardians, Cora, Sloch, Rurbie, Alabaster and Trista, though not born with the mark of the butterfly, stuck around to perhaps rise to power one day. They sneaked in a child, Destria, for it carried the marks of the leader of their rebellion; Cora.

Breeding and hatchling rules
- Only those blessed with the mark of the butterfly may reproduce. Breaking this rule may result in banishment.

- Only lone hatchlings may be taken in - their chances of not being killed or banished relies on their commitment and the mark of the butterfly.

- Rarely may the Imperial Guardians reproduce,
though it is accepted when there are other clans asking for more hatchlings.
