DramHammersong's Clan

The Hammersong Clan was founded by two very enterprising dragons, Crowley and Loquacious. Individually they had been working on the impact of specific dragon traits on the efficiency of lightning collection and storage within the Lightning Farm. Crowley was convinced that linking together many Circuit dragons would be the key to success and he ached to try all manner of patterns and coils in a lair of his own. Loquacious had more of a mystical bent and wanted to convince others that the special resonances of Crystal and Facet dragons would gather and amplify the power of the gods (especially Stormbringer aka Boss).

These two keen researchers were brought together when a mutual friend (and willing test subject), Static, introduced them. Together the three of them submitted all the proper forms and grant requests and eventually were approved to begin building a lair. Recruiting for the clan followed the usual patterns, with Crowley and Loquacious keeping a particular eye out for individuals that would fit into one or both of their research projects.

Things progressed smoothly. Breakthroughs from combining their research eventually earned the Hammersong clan the attention of Boss himself and they were rewarded with a lightning egg during the Thundercrack Carnivale, which hatched into StrikingVisage.

Crowley also received personal recognition for his individual achievements. He was inducted into THEM, a not-quite-secret organization that works behind the scenes. Not sure why this or that happens in just such a way? It is because of THEM. In need of answers that you just don't have? Ask THEM.

Everything seemed to be going so well for the clan, until that fateful day when the infamous STEVE THE INTERN crept into the lair and made himself at home. The uninvited house-guest immediately started disrupting the productivity and beautiful efficiency of the clan. Then Steve started repurposing the Circuit dragons into diabolical pranksters bent to his whim. After that the groupies and sympathizers began to gather, until the lair became more of a harem for Steve than a lightning collection farm.

It was all just too much for Loquacious, sending her into a downward spiral that eventually led her to join the Satanic Nuns of the Chattering Order of St. Beryl. That was when she insisted everyone start calling her SisterLoquacious instead. As she was drawn deeper into the cult of the Chattering Nuns she talked more and more until everything became one long runon sentence and when she learned to talk without having to stop for breath the spacesbetweenherwordsceasedtoexistentirely. It was all just so terrible.
