The Clan of Falling Ice

Long ago, a young, ambitious tundra male set out from his decimated home. His father had been the chief of the clan but had gone to battle and never returned. The tundra's older, malicious brother had become the chief. He was a blood-thirsty monster.

The young male's life had been hard under the reign of his vengeful brother, Corpse. Corpse had made him and his mother, Aeilin, servants to him and no longer royal. He had fled from the kingdom after his mother had died mysteriously. He made the decision to create his own clan, far from the evil clutches of Corpse.

One month and three days had passed when he came across Mirage, a beautiful female. They had formed a clan of all dragons, and the male had become chief with his mate, Mirage at his side. He was and is an amazing ruler
and has lived in peace and harmony.
His name is Shard.

Note: This story was set in the rein Corpse.
Derevo crept out of the healer's den. Technically, healers were not allowed to have eggs. He shouldn't be doing this. He should be asleep. But he kept walking towards Evalin's den. This was the second week in a row he had come. Evalin was waiting.

"Hello Derevo," she said.

"We have to go." He rushed. Evalin was with egg! Fortunately, Derevo knew of a clan in lightning territory that accepted rouges. He would fly with her to fire territory, and then she would be shuffled into the hands of a fire dragon that would come to bring Evalin to the lightning territory.

They began to fly. When they got to the fire territory, they set down on the hot land. Derevo turned to Evalin.

"You can never come back. They will think you are dead. If they knew that we had eggs, they would smash them, and kill you. I love you Evalin." He turned and flew towards ice territory, tears in his eyes.

" I love you too." She whispered, just as a dragon with yellow scales, red underbelly, and blue wings came to her.

"My name is Regina. I will take you across fire territory towards the Clan of Rouge, ruled by Joy and London."



Later that month,
Note: The dragonets have been born.




"Evalin! Stop! In the name of King Corpse, I demand you stop!" called a guard. Shoot! Evalin thought. They were tracking me! She flung her dragonets forward. One, two... where was Harmony? She turned and saw the guard grab Harmony, and snap her neck.

Something inside Evalin snapped. She roared with the power of a hundred dragons, and she flung her self at the guards. She had no control over her actions. When she stopped roaring and killing, all of the guards were dead.

Evalin collapsed next to Harmony's small, limp body, and began to cry. Regina came to her, picked up Harmony, and put her in a snow white box. Evalin hugged her two remaining daughters and stood up.

The guards had caught them right on the border. They flew silently to the camp. When they got there, Joy came up to Regina and seemed to notice the box in her talons. She looked at Evalin and hugged her. Joy's mate, London, came to her and did the same.

"Welcome home." Joy said.
