Drusha's Clan

What is a clan? What makes it? what keeps it going? What decides that some stay and others go? That some are accepted while others are rejected from joining it? What lies at the heart of a clan? Such questions haunt the minds and hearts of people and dragons alike. While set answers might not be found clearly stated but a clan this is.

Founded by Draca and Duke though perhaps they spin not the heart of it. Many have come and some has gone. Tales have been spun and some involve some of the dragons of the clan. If you read some of the tales you can learn the history of some of the dragons. Or at list parts of history involving them.

Be weary of wolves and those who wear the marks of beasts. That is the old legend of the wild woods. The wind dances in the leaves whispering in forgotten tongues words of warning. 'Be weary the beast Queen's guards... be weary the beast King's guards. Be weary the court of the beast for death is its only partner.' All things that die become fodder for the trees. It is common knowledge. And thus became a tradition to plant a seedling on the grave of the departed. So that their body and soul could shape the next generation. It was because of this that the Wild Woods was formed. Or also called the Woods of the Forgetten. The thick trees all came from a single source.... the bodies of the departed. And even if a tree is felled there is always yet another seedling planted ready to take its place. It was on the edge of these Wild woods that Drusha's clan settled. Others joined and tales unspun but the dead still bear the backbone of the clan...as the woods that enclose them are gravemakers yet also the eternal sign of life always comes after death. As long as the trees do grow life will always continue.
