the city of delphi is a glowing, sprawling ruin atop a cliff, overlooking a scant beach on the shore of the castelian sea. many gather in the city's center, tholos, a massive, ancient structure of marble and stained glass worn by the ages.

on the city's eastern outskirts, dragons prowl & practice magic in the heavily wooded pholoe forest.

a deep crevice dug into the cliff-face holds dark, dangerous secrets. the locals call it 'aornum; the path to the underworld', a warning that any who enter may not exit.

the only exit from this blighted city is to the north, through selinus, a meadow overgrown with large, thorny brambles. shadows lurk there; some make it past with the exalted light of the god they leave to serve, others join the ranks of those shadowed beasts in the thicket.
