This is a lore clan (work in progress though dear lord)

*Note* I normally don't do much exalting but once in a while I do. If any dragons are in the 'For the Deity' tab, they will be exalted!}

Within the heart of the Arcanist’s territory lies a mighty ancient clan. From the ashes of the shattered pillar and war-torn lands, a small and humble clan came into light, feeding solely on an idea. A dream. A hope from one dragon. The world contained a wealth of knowledge just waiting to be unearthed, to be rediscovered for all those hungry enough to seek it out. The leader of the Somnorium clan aimed to make it a goal to locate, study, and preserve such knowledge. From this mission, a vast structure was born. Under joint partnerships from other clans, the Tourmaline Archives rose from the ground and into the largest library ever found on the island or Sornieth.

However, do not underestimate these dragons to be a bunch of fat and weak bookworms with noses buried in old texts and artifacts. The clan has been shaken to its roots by treachery and malice before and know their size and wealth makes them a target. They are prepared to defend themselves and the knowledge they pledge to protect from those with ill intentions and malevolent greed. Their claws are sharp and teeth are bared. Through studies of ancient records and artifacts, they mastered powerful spells and battle techniques. They are a force to be feared. That being said, they do not abuse this power as a means to gain more for themselves and strip away from others.

The world is becoming increasingly twisted and overturned by large increases of energy and magic over the ages. It has allowed dragons of all kinds to gain power that matched gods and abilities that could overturn the entirety of Sornieth as a whole. The Shade has also been feeding off this and quietly becomes stronger by the day. Somnorium clan understands that the only way to survive and to protect is to become united, to put aside the torn rifts of their gods and become one. Dragons of various backgrounds and talents are invited into the clan, where they still may pursue their own desires (as long it does not threaten the mission of the clan), but still put their efforts into growth, protection, and maintenance of the clan.

Only time will tell whether the Somnorium clan will be ready to stand against the challenges of the world or collapse into dust to be forgotten by time...

Thank you! I love my old dergs. When I joined my Progens were started in 4 digits already! I would be happy to add you to their ping list. I was hoping to breed and maybe boon them this week.
