Welcome to the land of the Royal Nocturnes. We are devoted to the light.

This is the Kingdom of Natarus, here resides the Royal Family of Nocturnes who rule over the lands here. It is believed that Nocturnes should hold the power to rule, whether the inhabitants agree with this or not is yet to be seen.

Usually all who live here worship their goddess, the Light Weaver, and are typically found spending their time keeping records, or giving gifts to their deity.

However there are some who take to the moon, and believe that the light from the moon is also a gift. It is unclear to them whether this is a good or bad thing, only time can tell..

Royal Family
Current Leader: Queen Lunaria

The Royal Family consists of only Nocturnes,
as the belief being that only a Nocturne has the right to hold power. This idea is also backed by the gifts bestowed upon those Nocturne who are worthy.

This gift being those who are born with the power to use different elements, and even control or represent weather and nature. The way you would tell this is by the feather tail they are born with. It is said that the tail is a symbol of being blessed by the goddess.

The Nobles
Current Leader: Divide

For several years the Nocturnes where the only family with a high status, however during the last solstice, some Coatls began to show changes. These changes included rounded horns growing from their heads. It is possible they possess small amounts of magics to control minimal elements.

Due to this shift, Queen Lunaria decided to authorize those Coatls a higher social status in the kingdom. It has yet shown if this was the right idea or not, as some could easily be a threat to the Nocturnes power if left unchecked. For now there seems to be no worry of a Coatls power exceeding the Nocturnes, but many things are still a mystery to the gifts given to them.
