Making their home in the dim tendrils of mist enveloping the Driftwood Drag, the Clan of Midnight Shadows has made it's abode out of a pre-existing dam of driftwood and hollow logs at the water's edge. Though this structure is minimal shelter, it performs its function and the clan is happy there for the time being.

The clan is led by Ryorth, a youthful guardian male the color of a cloudless night sky, with wings the color of a melting glacier. At a young age he was left without family due to an ambush by rogue dragons, thieves without a clan who took everything from him. Since then he has sought to find another family of a different nature, with those dragons also lost and alone in the fog of the tangled wood. He takes in those he can and together, they stay safe and grow stronger and healthier by the day.

Though many other shadow clans take part in darker magics, the Clan of Midnight Shadows avoids these and leans more toward magic that deals in Illusion. They also specialize in stealth and agility. They all have exceptional night vision that cuts through the thick fog and have enhanced hearing. Living in the tangled wood has never been much of a problem for them, save for their enemies, and their adaptations have made what could be a dangerous place into what they merely call their home.
