Motley. That is the best way to describe this lair. Headed and founded by a Guardian new to his job, seconded by a seasoned commanding Imperial, there is neither rhyme nor reason to be found here. All colors, breeds, and talents have found their paths crossing and parting in this place. Dragons of all sorts have arrived here out of whimsy, then stayed for their thirst for knowledge. The influence of the Lightweaver is contagious, it seems.
As Axel found it, behind weather-beaten oak doors it seems this lair had once been a live-in library...ok, this is an understatement. The walls are lined-no, papered-with dusty mahogany bookshelves overflowing with decaying tomes. Notches in the walls are stuffed with parchments, some so crumbled the residents are afraid to move them without calling in a professional. A well-used fire pit in the center sends light to every corner when in use, amplified by a carved chunk of quartz embedded in the ceiling above so as to prevent the need to build it up too high (and endanger the books!). Likewise the pantry and its cooking fires is situated far to the rear of the cave, beyond even the corridors of bedrooms that are being ever-extended as more members arrive. And one never needs to worry about getting lost in a book and losing track of time-just without the entrance is the Sundial Terrace, with its time only a glance away.
The dragons here have made it their mission to collectively peruse every single book of old knowledge this lair has to offer.
