The curse was sprawled across the bedrock in large, foreboding letters. It had been buried for so long under the dirt that the soil was encrusted deep into the carved-out letters. And what these letters meant, few dragons could say they actually knew.
The young dragon that had originally happened to stumble across the carved out words was no exception. It had been centuries since the language of the Ancient Dragons was written or spoken regularly. Only true scholars would be able to read it.
