Drifting through the waves of night, blending in just right, holding perfectly still, letting the night come over you.

We're on the hunt, hunting in moonlight, hiding from you, earning the reputation on shadows and dark.

From the way we are like shadows, we are like dark, we are like night, we move with graceful darkness back home as it comes.

Hiding from the day away, under logs and in caves, we always watch from the shadows of night, as you seek throughout our stuff.

Watching you from below, from above, you never seem to notice until we find your eye just right, the you turn and we hide, playing this little game all day.

Finally you see me. I maybe be small but still tower over you. Not even having to move a claw you are terrified, stunned by what has been hiding in the night. My fear radiates over you and you run.

Far away, never to return, we still watch you, from the shadows, from the night.

Never are you safe once you have entered our realm, never can you hide from us.
