Along the very edge of the plateaus of Wiretangle Walk, sits a clan known simply as The Lighthouse. Its view of the ocean is breathtaking, a tangle of inky waves ceaselessly crashing into the rocks below. But that is not what catches one's eye. It's the clan itself. Hundreds of brightly colored lanterns of all shapes and sizes criss-cross the area. A kaleidoscope of light, evershifting from the sea wind and the shimmering smoke that seems to permeate throughout the clan, far more brilliant than the arcs of electricity that dance between the Stormcatcher's generators. It acts as a beacon for poor souls lost to the unforgiving currents of the ocean, alerting them to the safety that is within reach.

Just because it is a beacon to safety doesn't mean that it is safe. Spending time in the clan requires a certain amount of resolution. It's one thing to remain unwavering in the face of danger but another to hold steady as the air goes thick with the smoke of magic and science's lovechild, to remain unchanged when no matter what corner you turn seems to be just another mirror of iridescence. All it takes is one second, one single moment of hesitation, and suddenly you are under the Stormcatcher's fierce grip. And all dragons know that a diety's grip is not one you can escape from.
