The bounty of the elements. With the surge in elemental flow throughout Sornieth, new powers and abilities began to manifest within those living upon the continent. Some were well documented, such as the resurgence of ancient species or abnormal eyes adorning hatchlings.
However, a few dragons began to realize they were blessed, or cursed, with a far more ancient magic. Their souls were able to manifest into physical forms, as guardian spirits that could be seen only by other similarly gifted dragons.
One such dragon, Lazarus with his spirit dubbed Iocus, took it upon himself to seek out and gather other similar dragons. This task proved unchallenged, as such dragons appeared to be drawn to each other.
Lead by Lazarus, these dragons eked out a small settlement for themselves within the foothills of the cloudscrape crags, dubbing themselves the Clan Mementos. Their ultimate goal is unknown.
