genVicron's Clan

This clan of the shadows is made up of scientists and spies, hoarders of information. They take inspiration from the Light and Arcane flights about the search for knowledge being a noble and powerful thing, with the twist of secrecy common to the Shadow and Water Flights. What they find is for their eyes and the eyes of their Goddess alone. Knowledge is power, after all; why spread such weapons around?

The clan is split into four factions, each with a job in the hoarding of knowledge.

The Elemental College comprises the greatest contingent of them, students to the natures of the Elements that infuse themselves with the Element of their choosing, changing their forms and letting the power of that Element flow through them to more deeply understand it. Often work in tandem with the Hunters of Mystique, some out of a sense of duty, others because they don't quite trust anyone else with the task of guarding the things they've learned.

The Angel's Roost is made up of archaeologists, explorers of the joint ruins of the Light and Shadow flights, hoping to uncover ancient knowledge that might be enough to teach them about the very nature of the Gods. Perhaps even ways to Ascend to godhood as they believe the Arcanist to have done. Should such a thing be found, they have pledged to destroy it before it can be used; but not before it can be learned.

The Infiltrator's Gallery is comprised of spies, pledged to go out into the other Flight's territories under cover of darkness and distraction. Their mission is to gather up the information the other Flights have already found, searching in particular for the secret of the Tidelord's prophesy and the details of the terrible weapons the Plaguebringer has concocted.

The Hunters of Mystique patrol the edges of their territory for intruders, ever paranoid of counter-espionage and others that may wish to steal the Clan's gathered secrets. They also act as bodyguards when foraying into the lands of other Clans and Flights, often taking the fall so their brethren can continue their work undisturbed.
