Maybe something like gem bound but with roses like the rose could be the primary color and it would work great with butterfly

I would genuinely love to see a primary version of the Scales tertiary gene. The current version's textures and subtle shine are lovely, but I have a hard time finding dragons that it really looks good with, which makes me tend to leave it unused. Really it would be more of a continuation of the current gene's look than anything, one that covers everywhere a primary gene should, and I think it would become one of my new favorites if executed well. It could also lead to some interesting color play with the existing Scales tertiary gene, as if those sections of the dragon's scales alone were a different color.

It would be cool to have a stained glass primary. Where different shaped/sized pieces of different shades of a colour come together in a stained glass formation. Before the argument arises, they've already shown they're ready to color outside the lines with Firefly though I personally think the gene itself could use some revision. Fur would be really cool to see, I know a lot of FR dragons have scales or thick hide rather than fur but the dragons who have fur can still get the facet and metallic genes why wouldn't it work the other way around. This one might be a bit difficult to do on tundras though (I imagine the effect on the longer haired portions would be like "ticked" or even agouti fur colors in rabbits and cats). More naturalistic genes like tabby, brindle (as in dogs), banded/ringed (vertical stripes), whatever is going on with Mappa pufferfishes, etc. I also want shiny genes that have patterning,like a mock Tiger salamander gene or something that looks glossy + has the mottled colors. Toad maybe? This is a sort of quick mock-up of the gene I did for female skydancers. The lighter grey that matches the belly includes the dorsal stripe, and the blueish would be colored in an alternate color(taken from possibly the poi/tox or skink/spinner palette), like the bumps on toads.
