Kara Brier puttered nervously around the ship, putting all her eyedroppers and tweezers and microscopes in their place.
She was so excited, and nervous, and couldn't BELIEVE she had been chosen for such an important mission!
She was going to explore a new world, discovering plant and animal life never before seen by humans... Even study the planet cycles, its relation to the sun, the temperatures...
It was just so fascinating and EXCITING.
She let out a tiny 'meep', pacing frantically around the counter in the center of her lab, and then peeked out the window of the starship at the star-strewn abyss of...nothingness.
Shivers tingled up her spine.

Everything Joel needed was in both of her green duffle bags. This opportunity was probably the best one yet. And Joel was so glad that she took it.
As she put all her things in the special compartments, she noticed the many stars surrounding the ship. what a beauty she thought to herself.
A knock cam to the door and Joel saw a figure leaning next to the door.


Cain peered around the titanic ship. He entered the pilot room, and decided not to touch anything that seemed important. He soon decided that the room he was in was boring, and headed to His partners room. He leaned Against the door. When she saw him, he remembered who she was. "Hey Joel, I'm your partner. My name is Cain"

"Well," Joel said looking at Cain, her new partner. he seemed like the guy who is most responsible and mature. " It was good to meet you. See you around." she walked out of the room, heading to the computer room.
the computer room was probably the coolest room she had seen so far. it had a giant map of the near by galaxies and nebula's. hen, a sudden ping sounded on a computer.
"okay... What do I say, Captain?" the screen showed a man in an army suit. He had glasses and blue eyes."Wait... Ha! Got this thing on line."
Joel put on the headphones next to her and spoke into the microphone"hi, this is Sabrina Joel. Are you with me, captain?" she said waving at the camera

Kendry Dallas sat in the pilot's chair, pressing a button on the dashboard every so often. Mostly, he kept his eyes on the black expanse in front of him, the only thing keeping Kendry from the dark outside a thick window. The stars almost swallowed him, and he stared through the window in complete admiration.
He loved flying.
He flicked a switch to his right, turning on the autopilot, and left the control room to get some food. Man, when was the last time he ate?
Oh right, about half an hour ago.
Well, time for some more.
He went through the door and turned into the bright hallway. His control room was stationed right near one of the laboratories, and as he passed one of the labs he saw a boy and girl inside the room, looking out one of the windows. He recognized the girl as something-Brier, but the other person's name he forgot.
He continued down the corridor until the cafeteria, where he picked out some oatmeal and a container of juice.
Sitting down at an empty table, he started on his oatmeal quietly, planning to take his juice with him.

Cain walked to the dining room and got a small cup of coffee. He sipped it as he sat next to the guy eating oatmeal. He thought he knew his name. Was it Kender, Kenedy? Then he remembered it; Kendry. "Salutations." He said sipping his coffee once again.

Joel called all the crew members into the computer room. The Captain(whose name was Bobby) asked Joel some questions about the ship and how they were doing. "On your right is a gravity switch which is off currently, but when you do, make sure you have no liquids or food around." Bobby said.

Kendry looked up at the guy who had just sat near him. He nodded to Cain in acknowledgement, his mouth full of oatmeal. Once he had swallowed, he answered.
"Hey, Billows."
He pushed back some of his pale hair and cocked his head slightly at Cain.
"So, what's on the schedule for today?" he asked, partly because he was the pilot and partly because he was curious.

Kona excitedly stuffed the large bag into a small compartment, and began to walk around the ship. She knew that there was some other mechanic somewhere, so she decided to explore the ship. Kona glanced at the buttons and switches, fascinated.

"I think we're going to start with mapping, and then we'll explore a little bit with our new robot." He said looking at the clock." But, we have a little free time." He said getting up. Cain walked into the tech room, and opened the door that led to all the personal rooms. He guessed everone was done unpacking, so he walked into Kona's room. "Hey," he said nodding to her. She had freckles all over her face and short, curly hair.
