The instructions are pretty simple!
In order to earn a ticket all you have to do is fill out a form and post something artistic!
The three types of art I'm focusing on are:
- VISUAL: drawings, paintings, doodles, sketches, photos, collages... that sort of thing!
or if you wanna come up with something more creative, go for it! Take a picture of something you've made and submit it!
- POETRY: Nothing says Valentine's quite like poetry! Write some poems about love! or heartbreak! or something really deep that I'll pretend to understand when I really don't! Write from the heart!
- STORIES: Write a short little story about something! Write about a pair of dragons falling in love! Write about two dragons fighting for the love of another! Write about a dragon who can't feel love! Write whatever you feel like writing!
Note: Entries do NOT have to be strictly dragon related!
The form is here:
(No need to ping as I am subbed to the thread!)
Code:
[b]Username[/b]:
[b]Art Type[/b]: ( Visual / Poetry / Story )
( and then put your image or words here!)
- Don't post anything that breaks FR's guidlines! No naughty stuff.
- This is a Valentine's Raffle, so try and keep it Valentine's themed.
-
There is a limit of three (3) submissions per person!
(Note, these don't have to be all different or all the same but it can if you want! for example you could do three visuals, or you could do two poems and one visual, or you could do one of each, etc.)
- Be kind and lovely!
- Read all the rules before submitting!
- There is no exact minimum word count for written submissions, but I expect you to put effort in. A singe sentence story, or a single "roses are red" poem will not count. (If you wanna do a number of "roses are red" poems, that's fine as long as you have obviously put work in)
Okay I said this wasn't your usual raffle and maybe it was stretching the truth a bit.
You can buy tickets! Just send me the money in a PM with the subject "Buying Raffle Tickets"
You don't even need to submit anything if you only want to buy tickets!
BUT! You can only buy up to three (3) tickets. (These are in addition to any submission tickets, bringing your possible ticket count up to 6)
and each ticket costs
25kt / 30g
Now, I know what you're thinking: That is very expensive. Why on earth is it so expensive?
The answer to that is:
I have dragon bills to pay I am supplying all of the prizes out of my own pocket, and having the prices this high will help out with buying the prizes, without sacrificing the creative element of the raffle.
I don't want to make people's artistic efforts worthless by being able to buy tickets on the cheap.
The purpose of this is to share our creativity with each other, and earn cool stuff in the process.
