I'm in the mood for taking on a cool new breeding project even though I have nowhere near enough lair space and haven't finished a couple others I've been working on. That's no matter though because this seems like it will be fun!
There are a lot of magpies living where I am now, and I think they're very pretty. As a result I want to make myself a lovely little magpie dragon!
Fae kind of look like birds and are quick to breed, so I choose fae for the project. Now, the tricky part is the wings which need some white and some black. My best choice for this is Black Seraph which offers black and white colouring. To make a nice primary to match we will keep the black colouring. Falcon looks good I think, a kind of feathered look and not too shiny. Then of course we need a lovely white underbelly. I will use antique though because it is closer to the colour given by black seraph. The result, something like this:
I'm not going to fuss too much over the eyes mind. Any non-obtrusive lightning eye will do. And I think I'm going to go for a female fae as I want to name the end result Maggie and while adhering to gender norms is needless I also kind of like the look of the lady better.
No special rules in this breeding for me, I just want to work towards a nice result. I will post updates here on my work to make this happen.
