so,, this game is about breeding, but i haven't done much breeding in the game so i'm embarking on the breeding quest of a lifetime. the npcs of flightrising.

including:
tomo and scribbles, crim and pinkerton, swipp, baldwin, roundsey, galore, joxar, the couriers, and finally, though it's not an npc, technically, the skydancer baby in the CR icons

i'm going to be breeding for these dragons in that order

hopefully this isn't too hard, since im mainly breeding for colors instead of genes. most npcs (minus the new ones, really) have basic genes and no tertiary colors displayed, so that means i only really need to get the primary and secondary

and removing genes is mostly cheap.

so the first dragon im starting with is Tomo, since she's first on the list and in the trading post yesterday (6/18/19) i bought these two snappers: Alyeona [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=52578104] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/525782/52578104_350.png[/img] [/url] Snow [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=52730423] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/527305/52730423_350.png[/img] [/url] Their secondaries are both Cornflower, which is exactly the color I need for Tomo's secondary, and their primaries are only 8 colors apart, so the chances of getting a tomo look-a-like is very high. very probable. However, they don't breed until like the 6th of july but in the meantime i can start searching for scribbles's pairs :)))))))))))))))))))

6/19/19 i dont know why im dating these it just seems professional ik i said that i'd go down the line, however, right now i want to ignore that. plus i found a pretty good pair for scribbles? gwayth: [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=52445533] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/524456/52445533_350.png[/img] [/url] and vivien: [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=52623856] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/526239/52623856_350.png[/img][/url] each have a chance of producing the right colors in each of the three categories (?) idk how to breed in the game i never fully understood it BUT that's okay because im just trying to have some fun [emoji=sunglasses size=1] and tomo and scribbles are both earth, so it's easier to breed them, as i am earth and can host my own dang nests. this pair will be ready to breed on the 28th of this month

added the scrys for the imperial in the scrying workshop and the pearlcatcher in the dressing room :))

6/28/19 [img]http://flightrising.com/images/nests/1/4healthy_0dead.png[/img] nested the scribbles pair. using the foresee progeny linked with scrying workshop, i tried to generally see how rare the color combo might be, and i only got one charcoal/sand/obsidian kid and it was a girl "uwu" but at least they'll give me some fodder and i might get a close one and then get them a mate with a closer range (like one to two off) the tomo pair wont be rtb until the sixth so stay tuned

after some reading on the forums, i came across a post by an admin saying that scribbles' colors were coal/orange trip basic

aaaaaand idk i like my scry??? but should i go for accuracy or for my own personal tastes....................

considering how i've already got the parents on the nest (and their range doesn't allow for an orange secondary), i think i'll just stick to my scry. if i need/want to, then i can redo scribbles, but all in all it's not a big deal so my scry is staying :))))))))))))
