Tell us all about your gardeners, hunters and foragers! [/quote] I have subclans in my clan (three or four subclans), so it is a huge clan and there are a lot of mouths to feed. Because it is such a huge clan we ended up having a wide range of professions and hobbies, including dragons that fit all three of those catagories... So we have gardeners who grow herbs, fruits and vegetables. So our clan can be somewhat self-sufficient. There are also dragons who grow crops, or whom like growing flowers and special or rare and unique plants. I also have some healers, and some shaman, witches and wizards who like to forage and collect things for medicinal or spell purposes. But there's also a huge part of the clan that are explorers and go out on expeditions either nearby or traveling across the land for months at a time... and while out exploring, they will often go hunting or may bring back spoils from their expeditions, including killing monsters or defeating bosses in dungeons.

Tell us all about your gardeners, hunters and foragers![/quote] My clan is Coliseum-oriented, so the battle dragons end up bringing all sorts of food goodies back from their visits to the venues! :) I guess they'd be "hunters", but they also collect plants on the way.

Winter Warmer soup! Please note that my view on measurements is 'idk just do what looks right'.

• Soak mixed dried lentils, split peas, and barley overnight in hot water.
• Chop potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, celery, and mushrooms until they're all more or less the same size.
• In a separate pan, saute onion (or leek) in some oil until translucent and fragrant.
• Add vegetables, sauted onions, hot water, stock powder, salt, an unfathomable amount of garlic, and whatever herbs and spices take your fancy.
• Make the stove do the hot thing. (More technical - bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat for remaining cooking time.)
• Stir it occasionally so it doesn't stick to the bottom.
• Cook until soft and delicious.

Keeps for ages, full of protein and deliciousness.

Though in earlier days only the Progenitors were capable of finding the necessary sustenance the clan demands, the newly-grown Beeaznan and Plague-deserter Threnody find themselves a proficient pair when hunting prey, be it terrestrial or aquatic. However, it usually still falls to the adept Progenitor Matriarch to catch insects (though she'd rather be tending to her fledgling garden, even if the clan doesn't prefer vegetable fare). They're axolotl-dragons.

I'm in the process of revamping my entire lair, including all the the clan lore... but one of my pan pride dragons, Pascal, is a toymaker! His bio is currently just a picture of him with all the presents he made and wrapped for the rest of the clan. Mainly he makes studies, but he experiments with a lot of other stuff too. He love bows, and bells.

Lore Discussion.

Aigasea, my water rep, has an adoration to music. She enjoys making use of her personal instrument to sew melodies and harmonies together in a matrimony. She sings right from her heart; she just needs to find her key and she lets the notes flow. With tons of practice and passion she is able to craft melodies on the spot. I guess that's the thing with water signs and water dragons! She doesn't like to forget the music she brainstorms so she often transcribes them into notes on paper.
