However, there have been 5 dragons with same colour and gene combos, and 4 of those are not exalted. But their owners have declined to participate in this project, so from scratch we shall go! Okay, so this project will be more challenging than usual, because of the gem genes and the distance of the primary from the secondary and tertiary. Let's see how we go! There is a dragon on the AH at the time of writing with the colour and gene combination, but it’s priced at 150g. [center][size=5]Line 2[/size] Now comes the tricky bit: Making a second line that gets very close without becoming related to the first, while staying only on rare genes. It seems there's quite a few blue-range/crimson/crimson dragons, but they won't work for me, since my line 1 ended on Crimson, and I'm after Blood. I'll have to breed my secondary into the opposite direction, and that means pinks. [center][size=5]Line 2[/size] First, Tchotchke. She's managed to inherit a very pink spectrum, so the most important thing is pulling her back into the reds a little bit. Unfortunately it seems like literally everything teal/reds/reds is related, so we'll have to go a bit further. Tchotchke was foddered after the nest, for about a 10k profit. Running cost: -10k Okay so the choice is obvious here, the one hatchling managed to stay on the right side of Blood. It’s a very small improvement, but still an improvement! [center][size=5]Line 2[/size] Now for Tsatske, who is considerably more awkward. She's to the left of blood on the secondary, and to the right of blood on tertiary, so her mate will have to be the other way around. Luckily I managed to find a boy that fits that description, although... the distance will be a huge struggle. However, this is a very nice range for this pair, and will probably produce mirrors too! We'll breed this pair for as long as it takes to produce a good male, but since they have a pretty nice range, I don't expect it to take too long. Fingers crossed.
