As I thought in the beginning, the toughest thing in this challenge is finding a mate with suitable genes and colors. Here I was lucky, but I'm concerned about how hard it will be later.

As I thought in the beginning, the toughest thing in this challenge is finding a mate with suitable genes and colors. Here I was lucky, but I'm concerned about how hard it will be later.

Awesome! Off to a nice start progressing in both breed and secondary gene in the first nest. For finding a mate what me and AuroraFier did to make it easier is to create custom searches in the AH for everything common, uncommon, limited, or rare respectively. Then when conducting a search open multiple tabs with the different searches and then transferring the genes respectively (like in your case tabs for common and uncommon and then deleting off all the common breeds/secondary genes and transferring over the uncommon of each). Hopefully that helps for making it a bit easier! Your mate and heir both have lovely complimentary genes [emoji=guardian laughing]
I have just put my pair on a nest and they got only two eggs - step up from my one egg nest last time though and really I only need one egg to be successful so hopefully do hatch an heir from my twegged nest!

Thanks ;) I'm using a similar way of finding mates, but I try to stick to the genes, breeds and colors that I prefer. Breeding pairs with mismatched colors or not nice for me genes wouldn't be pleasant, and this one is going to be a long-term project :c
Great to see such encourage, but you were lucky that time! One egg can be not enough - one of my previous three offsprings was pleinful and all basic.

The mate I got had a name from a Zelda game so we named my heir and both her mate and heir with Zelda related names. My pair will be RTB 3/26 and hers 3/28.
