INTERIOR. THE LIBRARY. Maximum, our fluffy pink tundra friend, sits sprawled in a huge chair
Sitting across from him, sprawled elegantly on the chaise lounge, is Sozen. His front paws are crossed and his shoulders are slumped. He is heartbroken.
Sozen:
I just... This was supposed to be a stupid little show, some weird inconsequential game that I don't even know how I got roped into ... It wasn't supposed to mean anything.
Maximum:

But I didn't want anyone to die for me!
Maximum:
... Dragons die everyday. Especially when they stand up for what they believe in.
Sozen:

I never thought this show would affect me this way. These women... and men... I have developed feelings for them. Some of them, I could fall in love with. Some of them broke my heart when they left, and it's been so difficult to try and recover.
It was never my intention to hurt anyone. And I certainly never wanted anyone to die for me.
I am a warrior! I should be the one...

Sozen:
No. I don't know. It shouldn't have gone like this. Kaz.. Tetsui.. Thanatos.. Phasma. I don't know what's going on. I cared for all of them.
Yes, including Phasma. I heard what the dragonesses said about her - but to me, Phasma was different. We had a connection. She was stark and brutal and focused. All traits a warrior's wife should have.
Maximum:
What about Sif? She's the one your father has chosen for you.
Sozen:
...... Sif is a good match for me. Our lineages are destined to be together. It's what's meant to happen.

Our hero sat for several long moments, the camera minutely closing in on his crystalline features, and there was a micro expression of a wince before he looked off to the side. With a sigh, he rose to his feet.
Sozen:

(As a note, when I was pulling the items for these episodes about 2 weeks+ in advance, I didn’t have an accurate up-to-date tally of current contestants, and therefore didn’t notice when we hit this point when we had three left, which should have triggered the Final Rose Ceremony and end-game.
… So I drew another item from pinkerton, and I carried on…)
