Race to the Center of the Pine Grove
Bandits Vs Brigands
Bandits Vs Brigands
Greetings fellow wanderer, my name is Evenlight. I am an Eventide of little standing in the great Clan Touchstone. As a curious hatchling I wished to visit the birthplace of our sub-species between the edges of the Hewn City and the Shadow Territory. As I was happily sneaking through the trees I came across two groups of dragons arguing at the treeline. They seemed a little shady so I stayed back at first, but in the end curiosity got the better of me and I approached them.
The Group leaders Valador and Manus explained that they had both drifted to this territory to make new homes. I told them there was an excellent place in the center of the grove where my Nana Nightfall used to play. She always told stories of the great treasures they found from travelers in the area and how they kept the treasures she and Nonno Twilight found in the old hollow tree. Both groups seemed very excited about the prospect of finding a home in the old hollow tree when I told them how big and well crafted it was.
I explained to them how dangerous the journey there would be now as the area is quite overgrown and they'll need to prepare well to get there. I told them I'd come back to visit them while I'm out on my patrols of the Hewn City to trade supplies and bring stories. They seemed very grateful and excited to get started so I left them too it an headed back to the Clan. I do hope they fair well on their wonderful adventure!
Poor sweet little Evenlight so naive...
Hello!
This will be my Tooth vs. Nail Coli Challenege thread, read more about the original Challenge here. I randomly stumbled across it one day and after reading through a few other peoples starts decided it might be something fun to tackle since I'm not creative enough to try a pinkerlocke and am feeling stalled out with my lair. Besides the regular rules I've decided to add in a few additional things to make it more fun for me

Factions are racing to reach the center of the pine grove first, with it's promised treasures of the old tree. The last team standing or the first team to 25(or 24/19 or whatever, depending on how long I last with the challenge) will win.
OPTIONAL RULES
Loot Insurance: Whenever a battle results in no loot, roll a die. Multiply its result by 100 and add that amount of treasure to that faction's finances.
Wandering dragons: Can only be traded with upon a roll of 6. I'm borrowing HSoup's variation of this rule. Mostly because I don't want to keep track of persuasion and have too many dragons joining either faction, but love the trading Element
Time Warp: Because I'm a busy person and often work long hours during the week I'm also going to use HSoup's Time Warp Rule, where I can play more "days" in a day if I feel up to it. (this also will hopefully get me invested a bit quicker since I've notoriously horrid luck getting anything to drop in the coli!)
Depending on how the first week goes I may be adding a few more extra rules. in the meantime while vials are abounding I'm Borrowing a bit of MoltenIris' awesome rules for Vials:
Will Randomize the list of talliable effects, and roll a die for the amount to add to a tally.
1 or 2 = 1 | 3 or 4 = 2 | 5 or 6 = 3.
