I believe the way the Ward stone works in TvN is that the dragon with the highest LP at any point in the faction who got the drop suffer half the usual LP penalties, rounded to the nearest 1/2 LP. If there is more than one dragon with the most LP, all of them recieve the bonus until they fall below eachother.

This means Hal won't be the one to recieve the bonus for the entire week. It's Hal as well as Gerwyn who will at this point in time, because they both have the most LP of the Mages with 9, but as soon as that changes the bonus will shift.

Yea i re-read the rule for that a couple times, but i want to keep it a bit simpler (because there's so many dragons right now who all move in the same LP-range), so i picked the one with the highest LP at the time of the dropping (which was Hal at that point because he fainted later), and i just leave it at that. because otherwise i'd have to check with every fainting if now one has more LP, and eh... week's almost over anyway.
