Lore-wise, my clan is nomadic and unaffiliated with any one flight. Personally, I was extremely torn when I joined Flight Rising about which flight to join. This way, I get to experience all of them. I will spend six months in each flight, timed to sync with their festivals, and then return to my first flight, Nature, for a full year. Traveling was the family tradition. As hatchlings grew into young dragons, they headed off on their own adventures. The idea of setting out alone didn't appeal to Kaede, but neither did settling down in the Viridian Labyrinth where they had been born. They began to ask around, and eventually met two dragons who shared their wishes of seeing the world but having a family to share it with. Before long, more and more dragons joined them in their preparations to travel Sornieth, and in this way a clan of nomads was born.[/columns] [columns][right][color=#bc9ad4][u]Clan Patriarch, Head of the Guard: Veran[/u] Created by the Gladekeeper herself with his mate Leira, Veran's elemental loyalty is to Nature. The pair wandered the Viridian Labyrinth together in search of their charges. Eventually, they came upon Kaede with their small band of dragons. Staying with them for a while, the two grew fond of the group, especially of Kaede, as they excitedly shared with the Guardians their plans of traveling the world. When it came time for Veran and Leira to move on in their search, they found that neither of them could bear to leave. They began taking trips on their own, going off where no dragon could keep track of them. They would come back with friends who would join the clan, and then disappear again. Leira wanted to keep the dream alive, so she took matters into her own hands. Taking her own trip for a while, she searched the Viridian Labyrinth for a dragon who could lead the clan. She returned with Kairin in tow. After introducing them to Kaede, she took them aside. They admitted that they would rather be a part of the clan than one of its leaders, and so Kairin agreed to work with Veran and Leira in their stead. Veran, being the stronger of the three, became head of the clan's guard, training able-bodied dragons to protect their family. Leira, with her skills in negotiation, became the diplomat, organizing ambassadors from every land in Sornieth to aid in their safe passage. Kairin, meanwhile, took the reins for organizing and leading the now quite large clan.[/columns] [columns][right][color=#bc9ad4][u]Clan Leader: Kairin[/u] Kairin had heard of this clan since its early stages. Though they'd been intrigued, they never intended to get so involved. At first they visited, inquired as to the progress the group was making. Soon enough, they were helping out where they could while they were in the area. When Leira tracked them down and asked them to take over, it didn't take much to convince them. By then, they'd had a part in most of the important discussions and knew the clan and its ideas as well as the leading trio did. Out of them all, Kairin's sharp mind was the most suited to processing the details and providing the organization and guidance the clan needed. I don't know yet. hhhh

Today I reached 1500 gems yaaaaaaay I'm all ready to move to the Shifting Expanse in July! also, of course once we're settled in at the Sunbeam Ruins an Emperor appears

It looks like all of my move dates will have to be shifted because I had to wait an extra day to be allowed to switch flights.
