@StormDragon21 Biar ran. Tireless and unrelenting her stride ate up the miles, taking her through miasma and pools of plague, her artificial hide repelling even the toughest of toxins. Her scythe kamatachi, a native of the Plaguelands, sat on her shoulder, whispering in her ear to direct her over closer to the Rim. Biar wasn't sure what she would find there, but her drive to run and explore would not be denied. Finally the Rim appeared, a monolithic natural structure that towered above the clouds of dust and disease that covered the land. Biar grinned. Her kamatachi had guided her true and she had conquered the Abiding Boneyard, which had claimed many of the less worthy before her. As she disappeared into the Rim's shadow she paused on a high outcropping to survey the route before her. It was then she heard the growl. Looking down, she realized the base of the outcropping was a den, and from out of its depths came [item=graveyard guardian]

@Disillusionist Aurelie picked her way along the Rotrock Rim, careful not to step in any stagnant puddles or patches of ooze. It wasn't exactly the most .... scenic location she'd ever visited, but she was a wind dragon and wind dragons were born to wander. It was about time that she embraced her elemental heritage! And really, once you got beyond the slime and the smell, the Plaguelands were a fascinating place to explore. @Kitiara Lumen stopped briefly at the border of Plague, overcome by an uncharacteristic wave of nostalgia. How long had it been since she'd last seen her birthland? But the moment quickly passed, she wasn't sentimental by nature and she had a job to do. This Riot of Rot her clan had sent her into the plague lands to explore and maybe bring back some medical supplies. Rosen especially would be grateful for the strange concoctions that Plague came up with to battle the ever-constant disease that flowed across the land. As a Plague dragon by birth, Lumen was fairly resistant to these, and she also didn't mind the stagnant smells or piles of rot that littered the landscape. She was barely across the border when she was greeted by a Pearl Catcher dragon surrounded by piles of crates. "Hello," the dragon called out, "Are you here for the festival?" Lumen nodded, and the Pearl Catcher smiled. "Wonderful! Then I have a welcome package for you, to aid in your journeys through out home." And with that, the dragon handed Lumen [item=major health potion]x5

@3idolon (Awww, that was lovely! I think you managed to get a good grasp of Aurelie's spirit, especially the part about her stalwartly embracing her Wind heritage.) Aurelie blinked. She had seen dodos before, but never one with so many eyes. She let out a wordless exclamation of surprise. The Hooded Dodo was surprised, too. It suddenly caught her scent, turned, and bounced off a rock. Aurelie couldn't help laughing at it. The bird obviously took umbrage at that; it fluffed up its feathers and clucked menacingly, deep in its throat. It was no match for the dragon. "What a delightfully fluffy thing you are!" Aurelie cried as she picked it up. It gnawed on her forearm, but couldn't cut through the deep fur. "You know, a friend of mine is on a pilgrimage here; he'll be pleased to see I've found a souvenir. Would you like to come home with me, fluffy one? We have plenty of food for you." The dodo recognized the word "food", and its feathers smoothed noticeably. The clucking in its throat changed to an amiable warble. Aurelie grinned and spread her wings for takeoff. She muttered a quick spell to make them light and speedy, and away they went.

@Marut Seicor arrived where the meeting was supposed to be held, only to find.... [item=ambush] An ambush! Serthis erupted out of the surrounding vegetation, forming a circle around Seicor and preventing any chance of escape. The leader of the group, a pale skinned individual with purple scales, addressed her. "This is our territory you've wandered into. You'll have to pay the crossing tax if you plan to leave again." Seicor frowned. "Crossing tax? You're nothing but common bandits." She reached into her pocket and brought out a flask filled with bubbling orange liquid. She smashed the glass to the ground and waves of citrus-smelling smoke filled the clearing. She calmly lowered her goggles over he eyes and watched as the serthis scattered in confusion, the smoke filling their eyes with tears and temporarily blinding them. They disappeared as quickly as they had come. As the last of the smoke drifted away on the breeze Seicor sighed to herself. "Stupid Plaguelands." She muttered. "I never should have left my cave. But since I'm here I might as well find that meeting..." She tromped off into the underbrush, sure that whatever Plague denizens were out there would give her a wide berth.

@DocMulligan Urvirith strolled through the abiding boneyard, looking for medicinal herbs or anything else of interest to make this trip worthwhile. Asmodeus had told him to get out of the lab and stretch his wings a bit, and lacking anything better to do Urvirith had complied. He entered an area teeming with roots and pustules, each one swelling to gigantic proportions before bursting with a wet pop that sprayed pus in all directions. He walked among them unconcerned. He was a plague dragon after all, and a healer on top of that. He could handle a bit of pus. Eventually he came to a boggy patch with all sorts of fungus and lichens overgrowing the rocky soil. He started browsing among these, happily looking for materials. That's when he spotted them. A wondrous fine! [item=All-Seeing Shroom]x10

@Zippo Dagrun lurched through the mire, dwarfing the skeletal trees he passed and crushing the undergrowth beneath his massive feet. He'd found a good location to wait and feed but the adventures had grown scarce of late. Normally he'd just wait out the dry patch and subsist on the common serthis or longnecks that were always eager to explore his cavernous insides, but he'd grown restless and decided a change in location would do him good. He passed by a clan, noting with amusement as its inhabitants fled from his massive bulk in a panic, but he didn't bother to give chase. He was more of an ambush predator in any case. That's when he felt something smoosh beneath his toes. Looking down, he noted with interest he'd stepped in a nest, and there was one loan egg remaining unbroken. He considered this prize for a moment, trying to decide what to do with it.... [item=unhatched plague egg]

@MOMOFSIX As Tesla flew above the plague lands the red light hit her rainbow hide and threw prisms of color across the surrounding clouds. She swooped and danced through the air in delight, enjoying the hot thermals that rose off the burning sands of the Abiding Boneyard. She hadn't been entirely sure what to expect when crossing into the Plaguelands for the Riot of Rot, but so far she had to admit she was enjoying herself. Finally growing tired of the aerial acrobatics, she swooped down to give herself a bit of a rest. Her animated statue climbed off her back and started to explore as she sat down and took in the austere surroundings. That's when she heard a roar. Leaping to her feet she ran over to where her familiar had disappeared and found.... [item=basilisk] The creature was in a staring match with her familiar, trying to turn it to stone. Tesla had to muffle a laugh, this was one contest it wasn't going to win!

@LightHelco Bibble hopped after the little bugs, his bubble nymph collecting the bubbles from the puddles of water he left in his wake. He pounced and set the insects buzzing in all directions. Laughing to himself he took off in little bounds and hops, wondering what further adventures might be found at the Rotrock Rim. Finally he stood in the shadow at its base and looked up and up and up toward the top. It was a lot taller than he'd thought, but he wasn't intimidated by heights! He left into the air and raced straight upward, beating his wings to get as much altitude as possible. Up and up he raced, and he was almost to the top when something swooped out of the sky and he collided right into it! He flailed in the air for a moment, before latching onto the side of the Rim to see what he'd hit. What could possibly survive way up here? Looking around, he saw that what he'd run into was shaking itself upright not far away. It was a [item=webwing alpha]
