TOPIC | Confusion [A Nuzlocke]
I just joined this game, and overall didn't get it. Now I have turned my account into a nuzlocke account. I'm going to start the game with my progenitors Confusion A Nuzlocke
The rules 1. You can't buy dragons. All you can do is buy eggs or hatch your own. Change as of 8/17 - You can buy a dragon from the AH after you've leveled three dragons to level 25. This means that you can still get rare breeds that are impossible to find scrolls for, it's just extremely difficult. (You're encouraged to buy non-gened dragons, since you're able to get both rare breeds and whatever colors you want, to keep it in line with the challenge, but do whatever is the most motivating for you.) 2. You can only buy one egg a month. 3. You can't scatter scroll a dragon until they've reached level 25. 4. You can't give a dragon a primary gene until level 10, can't give them a secondary gene until level 15, and can't give them a tertiary gene until level 20. 5. For every egg you find, whether in the coliseum or by scavenging, you may purchase one breed change for any dragon. 6. You cannot gather food, you must grind for it in the coli. 7. If a dragon faints in the coli, it's dead. Exalt. Nests 1. For every hatchling, flip a coin. 2. If tails, the hatchling died. Exalt. 3. If heads, you have a survivor.
Azizi and Kitari are left in isolation as the sole survivors. The only hope they have is their 3 eggs. Good luck with this! Some tips I've discovered the hard way during my own nuzlocke:

Don't go into the woodland path area of the coliseum until you have three dragons of level 5 or higher. Trust me. Stay in the training fields.
[item=sap][item=aid]As soon as your dragons reach level 3 and unlock a new stone slot, give the physical fighters Sap and the mages Aid. It's currently cheaper to buy Sap in the marketplace than on the AH, I'm not sure about aid.
These tips are more general coliseum ones rather than being nuzlocke focused but you seem new so I'll go ahead:

You want a team of 2 physical fighters and 1 mage/healer.
Fighters use scratch and mages use meditate and contuse. Check both AH and marketplace prices if you need to buy these.
For the fighters, STR should be by far the highest stat, followed by QCK. For mages, INT needs to be the highest, followed by QCK. Usually you can pretty much ignore all the other stats but you might want to err on the side of caution for a nuzlocke and give your dragons a pretty good vit stat, and maybe some def and mnd as well?
This thread, titled "how to train your dragon", is an excellent coli walkthrough used by nearly everyone I know on this site and I strongly reccomend reading all of it. However, it relies heavily on Eliminate stones, which cost 300,000 treasure this morning and are constantly increasing in price, so once you get the hang of the coli I reccomend taking a look at this build for a level 25 dragon using no eliminate, which you can work towards for your physical fighters.
That's everything I can think of off the top of my head, feel free to PM me if you have any questions, no matter how silly. Also check your flight's forum- there's always a lot of generosity and support for newbies!
