I have hatched a majestic heir! And my heirs must be fae. He's going to go play with the Gladekeeper soon I think.

And SOMETHING decided to be down, so I'm waiting for the AH to go back up to find her a mate. A PRETTY mate.

So I FINALLY have my 7th generation... haven't gone up any in breed rarity, but I MAY have actually finished my challenge here. I've been eyeing this challenge for quite a bit now and decided that it would be quite interesting [s]and give me a break from the long drop coli challenge[/s] And so.... My founder was originally going to be male, because I have too many females in my lair and need to find them mates, and I most certainly was not expecting my founder to be a Fae, one of my favorite breeds. But when I found this... unique... girl in the AH, I knew that she'd keep me on the hook with all the spawn that she'll spawn. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=31244406] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/312445/31244406_350.png[/img] [/url] Everything clashes horribly, from the yellow-red mess of frills to the way the gembound and poison mix that somehow reminds me of radioactive vomit e-e. On top of that, Gembound happens to be one of my least favorite genes (so far, I only find it good on Skydancer males), I only like poison with certain colors, and sanguine isn't one of them. If the wacky color scheme continues, that'll definitely not look good with Ice eyes. On the contrary, I found a perfectly respectable mate for my founder, or Serma (the name given to her by her previous owner was Rabbit. Speaking of the previous owner, if you're seeing this, I'm so sorry about what I've said about your former dragon xD). The other two candidates had basic tertiary genes, and I wanted to do triple gene dragons only.

@kinzcraft Congratulations! That's the ugliest founder I've seen on this challenge thread in a while. Oh, lord. :'D Your description is spot-on and I wish you good luck on your quest to breed out the ugly!

(Although... I might grow to like it) Perhaps I will put the first fae on the adoption thread, continue the challenge with the second fae, and either keep the tundra to breed more camo babies (with fitting eyes!) or find her a permanent home as she is. If renting nests is allowed... maybe I'll continue the challenge with her instead? I really don't know. I did not have the foresight to pick progens with pink-friendly colors okay?? The lead makes things awkward though. +1 I'm just gonna say +1 for genes because I like underbelly with most things Tundra: +6! Her colors and genes work great! But I'm doing double ugly and I'd rather breed her with someone who matches, so she is not the heir. Second Fae: My favorite part about him is the primary... I think I'd like if the other colors were adjusted to match better... but they're close... like, half a point for each? I'll say +2 because he's heir Underbelly again +2

[/quote] I checked the founder/mate thread and saw that you were giving your Tundra to another user for their 100 Hatchling Challenge, but if you're ever torn between heirs again and feel that continuing the challenge by renting another nest is the way to go, that's totally cool. :D There's nothing against renting out a nest in another flight for the purposes of this challenge -- in fact, I know of at least one user who rented a Fire nest to achieve a perfect Halloween dragon as their challenge winner. ^^ Go nuts, and good luck with Leprechaun (who I agree is oddly adorable)!
