Hew and Hinnah are on a 2 egg nest! I'm so excited for this next generation, they are going to be very important lore-wise. Also, now that Hew has Underbelly, their kids are a lot more exciting! So I decided as I was waiting for my ungodly long cooldown to end for my normal challenge, I decided to start a side challenge just for kicks with a few small modifications: 1. One founder is the cheapest ungened Gen 1 I can find on the Auction House that's unnamed. He or she gets an A-name, of course. 2. The other founder will be the first dragon of the opposite breeding category that has an A-name [i]and[/i] is under 10kt. 3. Once bred, pick the heir who made the most progress with genes, if applicable; otherwise, pick your favorite. If multiple made about the same amount of progress, pick your favorite of the bunch. 4. The casual goal is to get a triple-gened dragon by the time the Z-generation is born with a 10kt purchase ceiling for mates. That said, here are my founders! My first gen has a very workable set of colors on his own merits and, apart from that, he was just 5kt with eyes that match well. An incredible deal. :D As for his mate, it's true that the cooldown leaves something to be desired, but I'll look past it because 1) she's freaking beautiful, 2) all of her genes stand a decent chance of being passed down, and 3) about halfway through my original legacy will get to breed anyhow so the wait will feel less long. It'll be 29 days before they can breed! This will be a pleasure. ^^

All right, I caved and started this challenge the other day, as a reward for myself for finally achieving a goal I thought would take a lot longer than it did. Since I'm impatient, though, I modified the rules slightly and got the first two A-named dragons in the AH that were triple-gened [i]and[/i] RTB. The mates of future heirs will also only be acquired when they're both RTB. Bogsneaks? Snappers? Meh. But wow, look at these two! (I've officially fallen in love my founders' range to the extent that I'm considering keeping them as a permanent pair. SEND HELP.)

Haha you'll have to be careful about getting attached, otherwise you'll end up like me. I'm keeping all my pairs from my wildclaw alphabet legacy challenge... But whether you go all out like me or not, I think it's always nice to keep a few challenge dragons, you know, for sentimental value. (Sorry, this is the wrong response to a send help lol. This is more like pushing you further into the pit).

LOL, yeah, it was more a request for commiseration than anything. I tell myself I won't let myself get attached, but I know I'm inevitably going to be hanging on to at least a few of the dragons from this challenge. Time to start saving for lair expansions, I guess. XD
