I'm a relatively mature lady who will never grow up, retired and happily married for almost 44 years to Fireweasel of Lightning. Together we have 2 rescued dogs, 5 miniature horses and 4 cats. Two of the cats (Martini and Kashi) are 'our' cats but the other two have favorites. Bindi just adores my husband and only sees me if she wants something and FW isn't around. Ember is my cat. A picture that I took of him had glowing eyes - this happened just before I signed up for FR. That's how my name Emberglo happened. I should search that out ... that picture.
I am fond of Star Trek, Firefly, hummingbirds, taking photos, gardening and living in the Sonoran desert. Right now the sun is shining, birds are chirping - there are several quail outside in the yard. I also love to cook and bake and have a reputation for never doing a recipe as written. Most recipes forget the cinnamon or call for way too much sugar.
Because I've been here over 5 years, I can tell you that Coatls appeared on Sornieth on my birthday, Trickmurk Circus and Night of the Nocturne are my favorite festivals, and I have 200 dragons (and several friends holding some for me) so I need more space. My biggest regret here is that back when I started I missed buying the 'five familiars who remain grey' in my Bestiary. That saddens me.
Come visit the Moonlit Nyyt Weyr over in Shadow. Tidalwing, the triple navy Wildclaw in the third wing (on page three), will be happy to show you the lands of Emberglo. Have some refreshment at Kota's 'Rusty Tundra Tavern' where several of the Weyr's dragons are chefs and mixologists (4th Wing). Visit the Ninth Wing and meet our sub-species: Moonlit Night Dragons. Lovely Descant (First Wing) can explain the Ungatched Egg Lore that our weyr believes and perhaps visit Chakra's weyr (7th Wing) and admire all his eyes! And be sure to stop by Antiquity's weyr (10th Wing) and listen to a story or two from the eldest resident.
