Toby Fox, the guy who made Undertale also made some of the music for Homestuck. I'm not sure how to answer your question, but I believe that was a sorta demo version of the finished song?

@hydreigonoxide Megalovania is/was a Homestuck song! It's a Vriska character song, which Toby Fox wrote and has made a few different variations of. It was used in-comic, is a track on one of the HS music albums, and later, Toby used in his game, Undertale, as well!
