@psychocanes and I have been running a near-identical thread with data gathering, as you might have noticed. At first theirs was in the Discussion forum and mine here, but now they are both here, and there's one too many! We've been in touch and I decided to shut this thread down, but I will continue working on the sheet and data for a while with @psychocanes :)
Here is the spreadsheet we would like you to use
Here is the other Baldwin Data post
Thank you very much for all your data! Everything posted in this thread has been added. Please continue filling in the spreadsheet, we still need more data!
Please refrain from replying to this post! It bumps it to the top, it should be forgotten :)
EDIT: the other thread hasn't been edited yet to reflect this change, so it may be a little confusing! It's okay to add data to either spreadsheet, as long as you don't add to both :)
Most important knowledge:
[*]If Baldwin's Brew isn't working right, press ctrl+F5 for a hard refresh.
[*] The rarity of the item you get is 100% random. (Confirmed by Aequorin). No need to throw rare familiars into the cauldron!
[*] Confirmed:
[*] Familiars turn into Muck (55% copper, 30% silver, 15% gold?)
[*] Food turns into Goo (not enough data to give drop rates)
[*] Trinkets turn into Sludge (not enough data to give drop rates)
[*] Apparel turns into Slime (not enough data to give drop rates)
[*] Materials turn into Ooze (not enough data to give drop rates)
[*] Items that can't be hoard-sold can't be transmuted.
[*] Level 2 only unlocks extra recipes. Time needed and xp gained are still the same.
[*] Experience:
[*] 200 xp needed to get from 1 to 2
[*] 400 xp needed to get from 2 to 3 (600 total)
[*] 700 xp needed to get from 3 to 4 (1300 total)
[*] 1100 xp needed to get from 4 to 5 (2400 total)
Data Gathering:
All data is welcome! You only have to fill out the input item type and output item type.
If you contribute, please try to add all your data, not just when you get a rare drop - that'd distort the data :)
Spreadsheet!
Alternatively, add your data in @psychocanes spreadsheet here. We merge our data!
Results:
Please check the spreadsheet for the up-to-date version :) Feel free to use my sheet for calculations of your own, though it'd be great if you did so in your own copy so it doesn't cause additional lag (File->Make a copy)

(please check the spreadsheet for the up-to-date version)
Note to self: all posts up to and including WendigoPsychosis' post on p 34 have been added
