Just a bit of creative writing to get the ball rolling! And maybe foreshadowing to a future activity/writing prompt...? ;) [emoji=autumn tree size=1][emoji=autumn tree size=1][emoji=autumn tree size=1] Rapture was making her daily rounds through the grove, checking on the lanterns that lit the trails and making sure that michif was kept to a minimum, when she heard a sharp cough behind her. She turned to face a little brown skydancer standing between the trees, shifting their weight from foot to foot impatiently. In their talons they held up a pencil and a spiral notebook. [img]https://i.imgur.com/k9ZH10y.png[/img] Seeing they had gotten the Ridgeback's attention, the Skydancer spoke up, "Excuse me, Miss Rapture! I'm taking a poll on behalf of the Everlasting Autumn Flight to see what activities members enjoy doing during their time off. This way members from all regions can get to know each other better and kindle new friendships!" The golden-scaled Ridgeback clasped her hands together joyfully. "Isn't that delightful! Well I really don't have a lot of time to myself...but Oh! I just love collecting and pressing leaves! [img]https://i.imgur.com/j9Kw1TK.png[/img] "I try to find ones with the most interesting textures and shapes!" "...Pressing leaves...interesting textures..." The Skydancer mumbled as they scribbled into their notebook. They looked back up at the leader of Maple Grove quizzically. "Is that really all you do, Miss Rapture? I would think a dragon of your caliber would be into more...interesting activities. No offense." "Hmm...I suppose there is one other activity I enjoy partaking in. A good ol' fashion [i]wyld hunt[/i] always lifts my spirits! Perhaps that is a tale for another time, though. I really am very busy. Happy Harvest, little one!" As the Skydancer pleaded for the Ridgeback to stay just a bit longer and tell them more, Rapture promptly took her leave, her golden hide melting into the shadows of the trees. "Drat! Just when it was getting interesting too!" The Skydancer huffed, circling the note [i]wyld hunt?????[/i] in their notebook. @sleepytroll Ohhh my gosh, both the story and art are adorable. Rapture looks so cute!! I'll definitely be working on some autumn doodles on my next day off. :D

Hi EAF Leaders! c: I'm planning out how I'd like to go about the rp threads.

So I'd like to dedicate 1-2 weeks per territory to give everyone a chance to RP in a region. I mapped them out to these weeks:

Last week of Sept - Mid Oct: Acorn Canyon
Mid Oct - Late Oct: Maple Grove
Week of the 31st: Pumpkin Patch
Early - Mid Nov: Cindershroom Summit
Mid - Late Nov: The Cornfields

These can change give or take a few days depending the activity, I wasn't sure how to split the 5 territories across the several weeks quq. You're also welcome to request territories to be switched around if you happen to be busy during a certain time of month! (I placed them to be as seasonally matching as possible, lining up with holidays or themes, but the choice is otherwise arbitrary and flexible!)

If you guys have any specifics beyond what's written in your territory post for how you'd like your territory's RP to go, feel free to let me know! I'm happy to collab or work in a certain idea or direction you want to go in. ^^

I gave a peek to the Hewn City Tours and Bubble Hop, and I'm happy to hear that people would like to do world building/exploration and lore stuff. c: I'm also a fan of CYA (my favorite honestly, especially 1x1), though I can only accommodate that sort of 1x1 interactions in a smaller group of participants.
I'm thinking that my comfort zone, to give everyone a unique reply, would be 1 paragraph per person's reply, around 100-300 words depending. I can give setting-based, exploratory replies (similar to Bubble Hop's rooms, without the puzzles to solve), or NPC-guided replies (if there's demand, I might need to borrow some dragon portraits for NPCs lol). Any line of plot I hope won't be too long, to be able to be finished within a week or several replies without being too long or drawn out (to be flexible for people with various schedules, including me), but still having a large window of more than a week for people to start an RP to get a taste of the region and participation.

Ideally, it'd be neat to give everyone a small badge for participating (posting their dragon and at least 1 rp blurb), but I'd have to ask one of you guys to draw one. quq I don't have much to offer in giveaways, but I'm happy to play along with anyone who participates, for the sake of fun!

@shoujo I'm not a leader but that sounds absolutely amazing! Would we interact with each other as well, or just a sort of 1x1 thing with you?

I have no qualms with the with the ways the territories have been split or organized. I personally would love to work on a direction for the Maple Grove RP as I have a loose idea in mind~!

I'd also love to help with the badges, PM whenever you'd like, I'd love to hear your ideas for how the badges should be designed. :)
