@MariaHill I think I read everything correctly. Here's my entry! If I need to put it somewhere else I can delete this post. This is sort of meant to have a sing-songy melody to it, but you can read it as a poem as well (the parenthe"seas" mean the people in the audience are shouting back with the song). Think sea shanty! It's about how Calico John got his golden necklace and his right to rule the sea as a force to be reckoned with! As the beast was vanquished Each sailor got a share: Heidi got some golden rings Noelle, a chest to store the rigging Ursula and Luka split the gems 'n' jewels While Calico John got his necklace to rule (To rule the seas!) @MariaHill It's like 2 in the morning why did I write this [quote=In Pluck and Spades] In Pluck and Spades Now listen here, for this is a short but enduring tale, to hear about the crew of Ruckus Calico John and how he and his mates acquired the Corona. Now this was a bad day for John and his crew, for they were holed up in the ye old jail not too far from here. What were they in for you ask? Well they were in for starting a legendary bar fight of course! Every pirates got to have fight in his soul! Some unwise fella spat ale in Ursula Varjot's face and boy did she get mad! But that's a story for another day. Now all of Ruckus' great crew lay in their cell as rain poured through their little barred window. It was harsh and stormy out and not even Noelle Nott was feeling particularly chipper. Heidi hadn't even mimicked a single sad harmonica jail song all day! Luckily, Luka had had enough of this dreary day. "I've had enough of this water-logged pit!" Spat Luka. "I'm going to get out of here no matter what it takes!" Luka went and stood next to Ursula in a huff and she stared down at him wondering what he'd do next. Well, it'll surprise you. It surprised Ursula Varjot. Luka had bitten Ursula's tail, and the next thing you know Ursula was raving mad. She used magic so powerful it fell their small cell right into the sea! Now, no one was particularly happy about being in this position, soaking wet and cold in the middle of the ocean, but Luka was satisfied that he no longer belonged to the jail cells confined walls. Except for the fact that he still was inside the cell! The whole crew was floating on the ocean in a silly old jail cell because there was nothing else to keep them afloat in the middle of a storm! Luka soon realized this and became grumpy. "Nothing like floating out into the middle of Lightweaver-Knows-Where in a jail cell!" He complained. Well, needless to say Ursula was fed up with Luka today and couldn't deal with another word he said. She decided to use all the rest of her power to make a real boat out of the jail cell. And so it was done! The cell shifted into a magnificent boat, dubbed by Ruckus as the Corona. Luka didn't say a word for the rest of the night, and Ursula took the longest nap that any dragon ever took in all of Sornieth. The End. Now who wants to hear about that epic bar fight? [/quote]
