I started this thread some months back, but to avoid a necropost, I'm recreating it!
I've been looking at the lore/cannon threads and I notice that usual set is that the user below picks a random dragon from the above users lair to write about.
That's cool, but some people just stick the the dragons that are on the first few pages, or have neat apparel. So, sometimes the same dragon will get picked a lot.
That's why I'm setting this thread up.

If your dragon's apparel is super important to lore, but you're not done with it, no worries! Go to the dressing room, then right click over the dragon's image. Select 'Open Image In New Tab'. Copy the HTML link from that page and then post it in between [img][/img]. This will show the outfit at full size like when you click on a dragon to see its profile.
If you're on mobile, you can just post the widget.

Eldrir is a man of many secrets. He appears only during the night when a new moon hangs fresh in the sky, and after that he disappears once more until total darkness once again covers Sornieth. Theories abound about what life he must live. Whispers echo in lairs of Shade possession or being Shadowbinder's greatest spy, but all are wrong. In truth, Eldrir obeys no deity and fears no Shade. Eldrir comes from a land deep beneath the soil of Sornieth where he is like a god among lesser dragons. He is a source of light to those who live in a dark, dark place. His opal glows with the radiance of the distant stars that few of his subjects know of. Only he and his most trusted men venture to the surface for supplies; all others remain safe in the seemingly never ending series of underground tunnels and caves. All of this power has caused him to feel superior, vain, cocky, and extremely dominant. He actually believes he could take over Sornieth if he wanted to, but his wiser side knows what a foolish venture that would be. Despite his attitude and power, Eldrir is a steadfast, brave, and kind ruler, but his iron fist keeps his people in line more than his honeyed words.

Obsidian loves to putter around her garden, caring for the plants and herbs she grows for use in her potions and charms. Trained as a witch at a young age, she is often sought out by other dragons in need of healing herbs or just a little something for good luck. She is happy to help anyone; often taking food or offers of help in lieu of gold in payment for her services.
In order to maintain a healthy supply of ingredients she has spelled the area around her home & garden to maintain weather similar to that of late spring & early fall. This means she always has strawberries and apples on hand for her award-winning pies (blue ribbon at the fair, not that she'd brag).

Bloodrunner had always been a bit of a loner, it was wasn't that she disliked other dragons but she was no good at making conversation. She spent a lot of her time reading and hiking, she just loved to travel, whether it be to entire other worlds or just a walk around the park. She often took long hiking trips bringing nothing but a book or two. Other dragons she had told about her excursions thought it was odd that she choose to walk to get somewhere rather than just fly. For her it wasn't about getting from one place to another it was about the walk itself and what she experienced on these walks.
She felt that so often dragons could miss wondrous things that were happening just underneath their nose all because they never thought to look. She listened to the sweet singing of birds and the soft chirping of crickets, smelled flowers of all verities and gazed upon their wondrous colors, watched all sorts of creature move through the forest as gracefully as fish in the water in the continuous dance of life. Yes She thought there is nothing here I would ever give up, nothing in the world.
One day, high up on the hill, she saw a creature she had never seen before. It was some kind of bird, an orange bird, just a chick. She stooped down to the little creature and cupped her hands around it an lifted it up. She looked around, high up, and high down, but nowhere could she find a nest. Oh, dear! Where is this creature's home, where are their parents? In the end she came to care for the creature herself, she made a little nest of pillow fluff and placed them in it leaving them in a hidden hollow on that hill.
She visited everyday, the bird. The bird, she learned, could spit little puffs of fire and could cough out smoke. The bird grew very quickly, eventually becoming a large bird of fiery beauty that glowed like a bright campfire. She was so happy for her little bird.
One day she came back and the bird was growing black, blacker and blacker by the minute. My bird! My bird! Not my little bird! The creature turned to ash and fell to the ground, creating a large pile of ash. She was certain her sweet bird was dead until a bright orange light, like a little fire glowed in the ash. The ash fell away as a small creature stood up. A bird, the very same bird that she had found not so long ago.
So, she continued to care for her fire bird as it continued its cycle over and over again. She cared deeply for her beautiful phoenix.

Zapton is an collector. She hunts in the coliseum for treasures as beautiful as herself. She likes gold things, silver things, shiny things. She'll collect most anything, really. Nice rocks of no value. Rusty pennies. Clay. As long as she can see the beauty in it, she'll keep it. And she can see the beauty in everything. Even the "ugliest" things. But nothing is truly ugly to her.

Izzuru was a mysterious one. He never fully answered the question, and always seemed like he was up to something, with his bright red eyes staring, observing. Fitting for a plague dragon. Everyone thought that Izzuru was one to not be trusted, but the thing that threw them off was how polite he was.
He never asked more than what he got, and the clan entrusted him as the ambassador of Plague. It seems his bright red eyes bewitch whoever he looks at. Maybe he's waiting for something, just as the Plaguebringer waits for the infestation to spread, Izzuru is waiting.

Oceanus, son of a primordial and a regular dragon. His mind, soul, everything that made him, belonged to the element of water. Ever since he was born, the seas called his name, claiming him as their own child. Once he was born, his parents abandoned him in fear of the gods ever finding out, for primordial and mortals were forbidden to be together. They threw in off a cliff into the sea, but luckily, he was born with the spirit of water, surviving his awful fate. The day he was destined to die, the seas thrashed with anger, waves and wind crashing onto the land, the sky cried, the wind howled, calling out his name in anguish. They were furious, how could someone do that to their own child? Once the seawater engulfed him fully, they blessed him with the soul of water. To control such a powerful element, a pure form needed for life, Oceanus would grow up to be invincible. Half immortal and living, he was different from the rest, he stood above them on his golden pedestal. Oceanus was well-respected of course, he could beckon the waters around him with a simple movement of his hands. Oceanus would usually be deep in the oceans, exploring the underwater landscape around him. Fish and creatures of all sorts swam with him, powerful fins propelling him through the rugged waters. He had a deep, melodic voice that enchanted anybody near him, another blessing from the gods. Some could say he was part mermaid, but he brushed it off as absurd, surely all water dragons could sing as beautifully as he could. Oceanus would always wear a string of pearls looped around his neck and head, like a crown, the pearls helped him transform his fans back and he would be regular again. Ever since he was little, Oceanus had a temper problem, the simplest of things could tick him off and send him into a spiraling rage. Riptides would form, swallowing and drowning anyone foolish enough to swim near the waters, the sky would turn an awful shade of grey, thunder and lightning circling above the land. Rain would pour harshly to the ground, and the wind would howl and groan, sweeping people off their feet. As time passes though, he was come to make many friends like the bubble nymphs near waterfalls or even sharks from the deep zone in the ocean. To say the least, if any creature was associated with water somehow, he would befriend them. When a fullmoon hung above the sky, we would glow a deep-rich hue of blue, mesmerizing anything that saw him.

As Caerus is the god of luck, he has the power to bring unfathomable wealth to whoever he desires. Dragons flock to him, asking for his blessing, but he always declines. This constant begging has made him a bitter and selfish god, always pushing others away. Even after telling his loyal followers that they should leave him alone, he is constantly showered in gifts and praise. Caerus doesn't want to hurt anyone, he just wants some peace for himself. However, when he is pushed his limits, he'll use his golden touch as a fearsome weapon.
