ORC deals in dragons with a 6-digit ID#, so 1 000 000 or lower. More and more people are interested in collecting old dragons since they are rare and a part of the history of the website. Unfortunately these old dragons are sometimes sold very cheaply by people doing a lair clean out and they end up being trained and exalted. A shame, because there may have been a loving home waiting for them! My goal here is to make it easier for people who come across exalt-price oldies to give them a new home. I buy them from you at a higher price than you would get for exalting and I sell them to old dragon hoarders below standard market price. And on the other side of the coin I make it easier for the collectors of old dragons to find a dragon to take into their clan! [u][b][size=4]Do you want to support ORC? Great![/b][/size][/u] These are some things you can do: - Scouring the AH for old dragons that are listed near exalt prices. This is most easily done by setting a minimum price, then sorting by price. The oldest dragons will be at the top. I repeat this with various prices, e.g. 8000, 8500, 9000, 9500, 9999. - Spreading word! If you see a lone sales topic where someone says 'gee, I accidentally picked this old dragon up from the AH to exalt, does anyone want them?' let them know they can drop them off at the ORC if they don't sell. - Food/treasure donations will be used to sustain the dragons and to expand my lair. - You can also donate biographies! Let me know if you'd like more info on this :) [u][size=4][b]Additional notes[/size][/b][/u] You will occasionally see me selling old dragons for more than the prices here. Those are never dragons that were sold to me through the ORC! If a dragon end up here that I really like it might end up in my lair permanently. Do not send unsolicited CRs for dragons that are in my lair but not listed here.

Sales take three main forms. I'll use the same ping list for all of them.


'Raffles'
When possible, I will set up a small raffle. All you need to do is enter your user name for the dragon(s) you want, and I'll draw winners after a while.
- Please only enter if you are prepared to give the dragon a long-term home. These are not for a quick re-sale or trade, and definitely not to exalt.
- No entry fee
- Only the regular 25kt adoption fee, which you pay if you win
- Don't ask others to enter for you

Quick Sales
I will post a listing with a couple of dragons every once in a while, and these usually sell very quickly. If you want to be alerted when a listing goes up, please Add yourself to the ping list.
Please take the time to read the rules now, because when a sales post goes up you won't have time! Rules:

- One Dragon per person per post
- Make a forum post to claim a dragon (not a CR. Send a CR when I tell you to!)
- Claim a dragon using their name
- Whoever claims a dragon first will get it

Special events
Every now and again I might run a special event. In the past I have run auctions, as well as a food drive raffle and a biography raffle.

The difference between the price I buy at and the price I sell at is to fund food, help finance lair expansions and do other cool things for ORC. If you send me dragons at a lower price the difference goes towards ORC, too! [b][size=4]Trade a dragon[/b][/size] You can also trade an oldie for an oldie. If you really want to help, food donations would be very welcome! I have over a dozen extra dragons nibbling at my supplies.

Other than that, I'm not sure. Maybe feedback on the current prices/system? Word needs to be spread, too, but I already pinged the ODCA list. I guess you could buy a dragon if you see one you like!

@lunusdragoness Absolutely! Note that dragons put in the ORC may still be exalted if no one buys them for long enough, unless you explicitly tell me you want them back if they don't sell. So make sure to tell me!
