[/b]After 5 days the renter will return your pair along with all your new babies! We always have reservations open, so if you have a pair that you want to reserve a nest for in a week or two, we can provide that as well! We may send you a reminder on your reservation day, but it's mostly up to you to keep track. If you don't claim your reservation after 5 days, we have the right to give the nest to someone else. If you don't claim your dragons 1 month (30 days) after hatching we have the right to do what we want with them. INTERESTED IN JOINING THE TEAM?

I am currently accepting applications to join the nest rental force! However, there are a few rules that you must uphold. If there are less than seven renters for a specific nest type, you are encouraged to join, but if there are more than five we DO NOT need any more. ((*NEW* Previous limit of seven has been moved down to five due to how overwhelmed I've been getting with keeping up with all the nesters. Around 70 people to manage has become a chore I can no longer responsibly handle with how rarely I get online anymore!)) Each nest element in the first post has a tally of how many renters there are, please check there before applying! I reserve the right to kick you out at any time should problems arise. I understand that there will be times when real life gives you trouble and you may miss an incubation period, but if it happens a lot and there are complaints, you can and will be removed. *NEW* If your last stated activity on your profile (explained later) is more than a month ago and you are perceived to be inactive (i.e. starving dragons), then you can and will booted from the group without warning! I will send you a message stating why you got kicked out so, and if kicked out in this fashion you ARE welcome to join back in again, but if it happens more than once or twice you might not be allowed back. Just so you know!

If you know you're going on vacation or the like soon, plan ahead and don't accept any new rentals 5 days before you leave, so when you're gone you have empty nests and don't have to worry about spoiling anybody's eggs. Also, it's recommended that you place a notification on your profile so people know you're not accepting rentals for a while. Due to the high volume of renters and the infrequency in which I personally get online, I can't put hiatus signs on every time someone's busy. So I'll leave it to you to keep your profile updated with your status!

Speaking of your profile, this is one of the most important aspects of being on the team. I'd like you to have on your profile somewhere what nests you have open. All I really need is the nests, reservations, and the date you last updated it in an obvious place somewhere on your profile. The general form looks like this:


Just update each nest every day with the name of the renter, two dragons, how many eggs, and how many incubation periods are left. Pretty simple! As long as you have all that updated, all shall be well! It's also required to have at least 3 nests. This allows for smoother management of traffic and all that jazz.

Remember, these are FREE nest rentals. If you want to charge in food, hatchlings, treasure, or anything else, there are other places for that. You may accept donations of course, and you can place a note about this on your profile along with your form.

To apply, complete everything that has been listed above, THEN send me, @MidnightCootie, a PRIVATE message stating you'd like to join (remember, if there are already seven (7) or more renters for an element already, applications are CLOSED). I will NOT respond to pings concerning applications. Please try to have everything set up before you message me so we can streamline the process with minimal mailing, as I get a lot of mail throughout the day and messages may get lost in the mess in longer conversations. Also be aware that I don't get online very often (once or twice a week) so don't be surprised if I take a while to respond to messages.

Also, be sure to check this little post here occasionally for updates and to refresh on rules! This post very rarely gets updated, but review can never hurt.

HISTORY
These nest rentals started out with MidnightCootie on May 20th, 2014. She was in the Arcane Flight at the time, and always had extra nests. She saw that a lot of people were renting out their nests, so she decided to join in and offer her nests for free for the masses. Through generous donations, she was able to expand her lair and obtain another nest to better accommodate the hoards of people who wanted Arcane nests.

About a month later, after debating about it for a very long time, MidnightCootie decided to change to Plague Flight. However, she also didn't want to disappoint all of her repeat customers by suddenly switching flights. So she employed her friend thegreatandmightyone, who was Arcane, to pick up those customers. From there, a couple more friends joined over the months.

Mid October, we decided to open applications to join our team to general public! So if you're interested in joining, see the above application form to apply!
