Eye Spots were the first gene I ever fell in love with. Even though a lot of flashier secondaries have come out since then, I still have a huge soft spot for it.

Shimmer is another classic. I personally like it best on pastel colors, where it usually results in some lovely gradients, but there are certain very dark hues like midnight and navy that also display it well.

Toxin is my newest obsession. It's one of the best genes for adding extra color to a dragon. Especially when the colors added are different hues than the base color; they always complement their base very well and can produce some stunning results when combined with the right primary and tertiary colors.

I have to say I am not pretty particular over my favorite secondary genes. (More so least favorite primary and tertiary genes.) But overall these are my favorites~

1. Peregrine. It is such a nice, versatile gene that pairs well with even the busiest primary genes.
