It was my introduction to the series, I own NV too but I never really managed to get into it? I'll go back to it one day though, and probably pick up 3 one of these days! @AestheticToaster I feel like Totemclan would have been allies with pre-coup Goldwood and not really a fan of how it is now? Due to the whole pacifism thing you know? Maybe we could do a thing with our clans formerly being trading partners but with the way Goldwood is now the alliance has dried up? @Solanceae Sure, that works :D I wonder if we could do something with the Division helping the eventual overthrow of Mizar's regime? I originally planned on having it fall apart from within buuuut having outside help could be cool? If you wanna get them more involved in it ofc @PsFox Ooh, that would be useful actually! Goldwood kinda lost a lot of its usual trading partners, so having a new contact that wouldn't really care about their new leadership would help them a lot? I see some mention of Runners in your lore - do you mean that as dragons who are running from exaltation? Cause I could totally use another contact to smuggle dragons like that out, too :D If not no worries tho, a trading partner is more than enough :P Edit: I also have another clan who needs some trading/smuggling contacts! There's a strong (though not obvious) Shade presence there, leading to overly aggressive wildlife and general weirdness; they might've been hired in an attempt to deal with this in some way? Hmmm actually, in particular there used to be an overly aggressive Talonok flock there - they're very relevant to [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=21697111]Eola's[/url] backstory. However I've never really used them again in any major way, so we could say that the Tempest Chase was hired to deal with them? Also, I have a monster hunter dragon as well - he could have had some interaction with someone from your clan in the past? Teammates on a particularly difficult contract or something, or a rival maybe? Perfection! My runners are more of the delivery sort, but smuggling out dragons marked for exalt is no problem for them. I can appoint a couple of my runners as escort specialists for these sort of occasions, too!

As for Graygarden, they'd be happy to do business. I'm actually curious about the sort of goods they would potetially need smuggled in particular. They could also do some food trades. Bamboo forests lack in vegetative variety after all :p

It's funny, the people who come to Fallout via 4 tend to love it and not care for 3 or NV, whereas the people who started with 3 or even the first one tend to think either 3 or NV is the best Fallout ever. I think it depends on how much roleplaying you want in your RPG. :) 4 has a lot more constraints on who you can be and how you can act than the other games. It's not a bad game, it's just more of a FPS and less of an RPG, and those of us who had played earlier games weren't expecting that.*

I don't have any fandragons, but I did name my Dire Hyena Charon and my Wasteland Collector Wanderer after the protagonist and my favorite companion in 3. :) Unfortunately (or fortunately for my treasure hoard, depending on how you look at it) fandragons don't really fit my lair lore. If they ever do, I'm afraid a full lair expansion won't be room enough for all the dragons I'd want to have!

*That being said, I'm wearing a Far Harbor t shirt right now. A friend of mine described Far Harbor as "Fallout 3, how I've missed you!"

I'm sure the Tempest Chase would have been all over that "aggressive wildlife and general weirdness." I think it's their specialty. I have a dedicated Shade hunter (two, actually, but unfortunately... I haven't quite written their lore yet...) that would be interested in territory like that. I might have to give her lore a shot now that I think it might go somewhere.
I don't have a dedicated Talonok hunter at the moment, but basically everyone (except Merle) hates them. That's... the extent of what I've done with Talonok.

Vesper looks like he would make interesting interactions with the Tempest Chase! I'm cool with either option: teammate or rival. If he were a teammate, he'd probably even be on Tempest Chase payroll for particularly difficult contracts, which would be cool. As for rival... I don't have any dragons that would serve as a direct rival to him, as a kind of focal point of interest for him. I don't have any particularly psychopathic dragons (miraculously?). The closest I get is this narcissistic mage. I imagine she makes a rival of anybody, so if Vesper would like to be added to her rival list... actually, Vesper could be her rival even if they were technically on the same team. (I plan on having an entire section in her bio dedicated to the dragons she considers her rivals... when I re-do it...)

(No worries about not reading. I know I write a lot. Probably way more than necessary. I try to keep my clan's lore as uncomplicated as possible. Sort of like a sandbox video game, so I can feel free to leave the main story line and pursue side-quests if I want. xD I'm pretty terrible at reading lore; tend to stop reading after only a few bios...)

Awesome! :D Let me know once you figure out who you want to be exalt runner smugglers? (what an awkward description LOL)
For reference in case you want to pick dergs that would play well/poorly against my own smugglers - Goldwood's are Azimuth (and eventually Merak), Acadia as a whole is all about the exalt runners, and Graygarden's is Sparks.

Graygarden's like, the definition of True Neutral - so I imagine they grow a lot of things that are less than legal shall we say? :P Also they're probably a stop on the trade routes for both Runner dragons (of both sorts) and the dragons who are trying to catch them - they'd lean more on the runner side of things just because there's more profit to be made there, but they honestly don't care as long as they're not stopped from doing their own thing.
Sooo tl;dr it's probably Interesting Herbs being sent out, and otherwise they're just a node on the illegal goods trade network?

@Disillusionist Hi and happy Thundercrack! Oh my gosh, I have to complement you on the Lightning Dancer's lore~ You captured such a perfect eerie vibe that's so unique for a Lightning dragon. I feel like I usually see inventors and mechanics, but an oracle? It works so perfectly for her. I have a dragon who could use her advice. . . I've had a rough draft for his backstory that I coordinated with Ximena when they were still active (hope they come back someday!). Anyway, he once lived in the Tangled Woods in a strange place where there were many anomalies. There was a young scientist who came to Cecil's clan to study the anomalies and they eventually became a pair. . . that is until one of Ximena's dragons performed a summoning ritual that opened a rift to another dimension for a short time and sucked Cecil's mate through it. I was looking for a way for Cecil to end up at the Cathedral, which I think Lightning Dancer would be perfect for! Perhaps she can send him in the right direction when he comes asking how he can find his mate again?
