The Stormcatcher thought this to be incredibly useful, and so used these dragons to create a special breed of lighting spirals. The spiral shape allows these Rogowski Coils to measure high speed current pulses accurately when they touch a terminal to their tails. This turns them red hot, and charges them full of electric power. These dragons can be found all throughout the lighting farm and the Tempest Spire, checking machinery and monitoring their output. If a Rogowski Coil is on the job things are slightly less likely to explode. And if any of the giant coils in the lightning farm need replacing, a Rogowski Coil can be used as a stand in while a replacement part is made. How useful!
