His hips sway as if he were dancing to the pan flutes you've been hearing all throughout the festival. "Welcome to the third annual Mistral Masquerade!" he calls. "My name is Wingsong, and I'll be your host for this year's contest." He shimmies a bit, the silks and bells on his middle jingling a little. The crowd cheers loudly and you join in, politely clapping along. The energy here is starting to get to you and you feel yourself smiling, the hesitation you felt earlier slipping away as Wingsong continues. "I know that all of our entrants will have wonderful costumes to show us, so please, darlings, consider joining in on the fun! We welcome everyone to participate no matter what flight you hail from. The Windsinger will surely smile upon all of us during the Jamboree, I just know it!" He winks flirtatiously and snaps his wings out wide, Celadon silks shimmering brilliantly as the sunlight catches them just right. Again, the crowd hollers with excitement and you let out a little whoops of your own.
