They are naturally good at swimming and have more oily coats than most tundras that repel the freezing water. They can bring smaller creatures who get trapped under the ice chunks to the surface while remaining invisible to predators. They are also known to work together in small groups to push ice closer to the ice fields if they float too far away. They carry themselves more silently than other tundras and are far less clumsy. They also have been granted a somewhat more keen memory than the rest of the breed. They are naturally very compassionate but can remain distant and cold. Their coat, still remarkably similar to its Frigid Floes cousin, is thinner and provides the camouflage necessary to be left undetected by predators on land. This coat has changed over generations to match the environment, giving these dragons the advantage of camouflage for their offsprings’ survival. Unlike their Frigid Floes cousins, they have the tendency to remain on land, as their coat does not provide the warmth or water-resistance necessary to swim. Instead, these dragons tend to the land and protect the creatures that live amongst them. Sometimes, in rare occasions, they will form large groups to assist in constructing a safe home for other creatures that live in this still very harsh climate. They are also able to regulate their own heartbeats to make use of the limited oxygen in their home. They can be frequently found looking for food using a very advanced sense of smell. There are rarely greens found up so high so they tend to be a bit more migratory than the other variants. They can also go longer without food. Despite all these “super abilities” they have the absolute worst grasp on language and communication considering they spend so much time foraging for food completely alone. They have trouble with being social and often are extremely awkward if they ever leave the mountains. They reside deep in the caverns of the lair of the Ice Warden himself. They are known the spend a lot their time studying the frozen creatures, criminals, or familiars the Warden has forever prisoned in his home. This variant is extremely smart but unlike the other variants... they do not tend to be that reluctant to help other creatures in need. They've been known to actually lure creatures into the Fortress to trap them there for the Warden. They are far more loyal to the Ice Warden then any other variant and their morals are quite questionable by nature. They require little food and have been described as completely emotionless drones.
